Maths Whiz Academy Pty Ltd ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.
What we collect
- When you request a free diagnostic: your first name, email address and your child's year level.
- When you book a Student Success Session: the details you enter in our booking form, such as your name, email, phone number and information about your child's maths.
- When you enrol: the information needed to provide our program, such as your child's name, year level and school maths results, and payment details.
- When you visit our website: basic technical and usage information collected by cookies and similar tools, which may include advertising and analytics tools such as the Meta Pixel.
How we use it
- To send you the resources you asked for
- To send you helpful emails about supporting your child's maths and about our programs. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- To arrange and run Student Success Sessions and our programs
- To improve our website and measure how well our advertising works
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, including our email provider (Kit), booking system (Calendly), website host (Netlify), video host (SproutVideo) and advertising platforms (Meta). Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what's needed for them to provide their service.
Children's information
Our services are for students, but we collect information from parents and guardians. We only collect what we need about a child to teach them, and we keep it confidential. We only share student results or messages publicly with a parent's permission, and we remove surnames and photos.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it.
Access, corrections and questions
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing tutors@mathswhiz.com.au. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll respond as quickly as we can. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
