Can't Afford Endless Tutoring? Why a Structured Program Costs Less in the Long Run

Many parents tell us the same thing: they want to help their child with maths, but the thought of paying for tutoring every week, indefinitely, feels impossible. They feel stuck between their child's needs and the family budget.

That feeling is completely understandable, and it's worth thinking about what makes maths support good value over time.

Why support can feel like it has no end in sight

When support is built around whatever homework is due each week, it can be hard to tell when the underlying problem has been fixed. Without a clear goal or finish line, there's no natural point to say "we've got there," so sessions, and costs, can simply continue.

What to look for instead

Small classes can be great value

One-on-one support can be fantastic, and it's usually the most expensive option. Small classes with an experienced teacher, plus personal support, give students expert teaching, the chance to learn from peers and individual help when they need it, usually at a lower weekly cost.

How the Maths Accelerator approaches it

Our 10-week Maths Accelerator Program runs in small classes of around four to five students, with weekly assignments and tests and personal support between lessons. Prices start from $80 a week plus GST, you can pay monthly or by the term, and our full grade guarantee means that if your child does the work and doesn't improve a full grade, we keep teaching them for free until they do.

If cost has been holding you back, book a free call. We'll talk through your child's needs and whether the Accelerator is the right fit, with no pressure.
